The 2017 IEEE PES PowerAfrica Conference runs from June 27-30, 2017 in Accra, Ghana.
This premier international forum will examine advances in the development and deployment of technologies and business models that are realizing Africa’s energy future. This year’s conference will emphasize the emerging opportunities to leverage ICT to build solutions for both on-grid and off-grid systems across the continent that are economically, environmentally, and socially sustainable.
The IEEE Power & Energy Society (PES) is proud to be holding its 2017 General Meeting in Chicago, IL USA. The technical program theme of “Energizing a More Secure, Resilient & Adaptable Grid ” will provide a platform to offer new insights, innovative ideas and answers to some of the most intriguing and important questions facing the power industry today. The Local Organizing Committee, PES Technical Committees and the General Meeting Coordinating Committee welcome colleagues and friends from all facets of the industry and corners of the world to a valuable technical program, productive committee meetings and exciting networking opportunities.
Now in its 7th year, GHTC is the flagship IEEE Conference focusing on innovation, deployment and adaptation of Technology for Humanitarian Goals and Sustainable Development.
GHTC invites presenters to showcase innovation and progress in technology and methodology addressing the socio-cultural and socio-economic needs of vulnerable and resource-constrained end-user communities in developing and developed countries, as well as confronting the challenges of both natural and man-made disasters.
